ICYE LONG-TERM PROJECTS FOR YOUNGSTERS BETWEEN 18 AND 35 YEARS OLD

+ Kór kindergarten - The volunteer's main tasks consist of spending time with a group of children and caring for them. Reading to them, help feed and change them, play games, paint or draw with them, etc.
+ The university of Iceland - The Vigdís International Centre for Multilingualism and Intercultural Understanding. Within the centre are facilities for conferences, symposia, lectures, research, film screenings, courses, meetings, exhibitions and collections of various information and data on languages in a broad context. The volunteer will be participating in an assisting role in various activities within the House of Vigdís. Some of those will be: monthly workshops for language teachers, weekly film screenings in different languages, weekly lecture series, to participate on different topics related to languages and cultures.
